Confluence has a wonderful opportunity for authors!
Membership to Confluence 2026 is required. Pitch sessions are included in your membership.
We have three different editors this year that will meet with up to ten (10) participants each for a 5 min pitch.
Sessions will take place in the Equinox program room.

Pitch your novel to Sarah Nicholas Fisk. from The Tobias Literary Agency
Sarah is looking for Young Adult (all fiction genres), Middle Grade (all fiction genres), Adult Romance, Adult speculative fiction and Adult Mystery/Thriller.

Rules:
- Pitch sessions are limited to ten participants per session.
- You will be assigned a time slot and contacted after the pitch session sign up closes.
- Plan to arrive ten minutes early for your time slot. If you do not, your pitch session may be forfeit.
- Participants will receive five minutes to pitch their Fantasy, SF or Horror MS* through a Zoom meeting. Private space will be provided in the Equinox room at the Confluence hotel.
- Confluence will provide a laptop computer for use during the pitch sessions.
- There is no additional cost for the pitch session, however, you must have a paid membership for Confluence to sign up for a slot. If you do not have a paid membership, you can purchase your membership HERE
- You may submit a one page query letter or synopsis to the pitch session coordinator, that can be provided to the agent upon the agent’s request. Assume that your cover letter WILL NOT be read prior to the pitch session. You will be able to provide this after you are contacted with your time slot.
- DO NOT submit manuscripts! If the agent wants to see your MS, they will request it.
